BOONE, N.C. — App State Women's Golf freshman
Zoe Duval begins NCAA play at the Chapel Hill Regional on Monday morning.
Live online scoring will be available via Scoreboard (Clippd), and
Babygrande Golf will provide a live stream at each regional site.
Each of the six Division I regionals are 54-hole events scheduled to run from Monday through Wednesday. As one of six individual qualifiers among the 66 players competing at UNC Finley Golf Course, with 60 of those players being from the 12 team qualifiers, Duval will tee off at 9:50 a.m. each day with two other individual qualifiers in either the last threesome of the day going off hole No. 1 or hole No. 10.
Seeded fourth among the six individual qualifiers, Duval will begin the regional at the 10th hole Monday while playing alongside UNC Asheville's Caroline Patterson (the Big South medalist) and Montana State's Norah Seidle (the Big Sky medalist). Duval was one of 19 individuals nationally to receive an at-large regional berth, in addition to 17 automatically qualified conference medalists from schools that didn't earn team berths.
From each regional site, the top five teams and the low individual not on an advancing top-five team will advance to compete in the NCAA Championships to be played May 22-27 at the Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, Calif.
Duval, a native of Cumming, Ga., has posted two first-place individual finishes and six top-five finishes in 11 tournaments during the 2025-26 season, head coach
Chan Metts' second season in Boone. She ended the fall schedule as the co-medalist at the Terrier Intercollegiate and won an outright title at the Babs Steffens Invitational in late February, posting a 7-under total of 69-69-68—206 that broke the 54-hole program record she had established earlier in the season.
Duval had two more rounds of 69 over 54 holes en route to a tie for fifth place at the Sun Belt Championship tournament. She completed that event with a scoring average of 73.09 over 33 rounds, with 13 rounds at even par or better.
App State's 2025-26 season is presented by Hound Ears Club.
