Cassie Nichols joined the App State Women's Basketball staff in June 2024 as the Director of Recruiting & Community Relations

Prior to joining Sharp’s staff at App State, Nichols served as the marketing manager at Presbyterian College. While with the Blue Hose, she provided social media and photography coverage for the women’s basketball team throughout their run to the NCAA tournament.

While working in the MarComm office, she also provided coverage of the 20th Presidential Inauguration, Homecoming Week festivities and graduation ceremonies for main campus. She also worked as an advancement intern with the Presbyterian College Office of Advancement.

Nichols was a four-year member of SAAC’s leadership team and competed on the Presbyterian softball team, earning a degree in political science with minors in history and media studies.
