Hanna Kotek joined App State Athletics in June 2025 as the assistant director of development operations. 

Recently graduating from App State with a BSBA in general marketing, Kotek remains in the High Country after working two years as a donor relations intern and one year with App State Football as the director of operations student assistant.

Excited to continue her career as a Mountaineer and a native of Sherrills Ford, N.C., Kotek now resides in Boone with her two-year-old golden doodle puppy named Geno and her fiancé Mason. In her free time, she enjoys going to the lake, skiing, Pilates classes, traveling, hanging out with friends/family and watching the Pittsburgh Penguins.
