Jon Pearl joined App State in September 2024 as an Athletics Photographer. 
 
Pearl comes to the High Country after working as a seasonal photographer for the Cleveland Guardians, photographing a variety of content including game action, stadium atmosphere, fan engagement and player initiative community outreach events. 
 
A Penn State graduate, Pearl also worked with his alma mater, assisting in photographing all content for Penn State Football’s social media platforms and creating engaging content to boost social media engagement. Pearl also received the 2022-2023 Leslie P. Greenhill yearly Photography Award through Penn State’s School of Visual Arts during his undergraduate studies. 
 
Originally from Hooksett, N.H., Pearl now resides in Boone. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, watching sports and spending time with friends and family.
