Michael Dickerson joined App State athletics in September 2021, and joined the creative services team as a graphic designer in May 2023.
 
Prior to that, Dickerson was a member of the Mountaineers marketing department where he worked primarily with the volleyball, women’s basketball and baseball programs.
 
Dickerson made his way to the High Country after a stint with the South Carolina Stingrays of the ECHL where he served in the marketing department, leading content design and execution of all social media and marketing efforts.
 
Dickerson graduated from Georgia Tech with a degree in business administration in 2017. He continued his education at Incarnate Word, where he earned his MBA in 2020. While at UIW, Dickerson worked in their athletics marketing department as a fan experience graduate assistant, working with the baseball, men’s and women’s soccer, and men’s and women’s basketball programs.
 
Originally from Dalton, Ga., Dickerson now resides in Boone, N.C. One of his passions is music and he was a part of the Georgia Tech marching band in college.
