RICHMOND, Ky. — App State Volleyball fell to Eastern Kentucky in a five-set match Saturday, dropping the contest 20-25, 25-21, 17-25, 25-21, 7-15.

Chelsea Gilmore and Delanie Grevengoed led the offense with 12 and 10 kills, respectively. Gilmore averaged 2.40 kills per set, hit .417 and tallied three total blocks. Grevengoed hit .257 while averaging two kills per set.

Raegan Richardson continued her steady play for the Mountaineers (7-7), recording 34 assists against the Colonels (10-2) to bring her weekend total to 101. She is now one assist shy of 2,000 for her career. Richardson also averaged 6.18 assists per set Saturday and added two service aces.

Over the course of the tournament, MeMe Davis totaled three kills, 17 assists and 64 digs to earn All-Tournament honors for the second time this season.

Grevengoed also earned her first All-Tournament honor of the season, recording 26 kills hitting .226, one assist, eight service aces, 14 digs and six blocks.

The Mountaineers will remain on the road to open conference play, facing Old Dominion on Thursday at 6 p.m.
